The LipoZentrum Dr. Heck in Salzburg was founded at the end of 2018 by Dr. Falk-Christian Heck, with the aim of creating a center of excellence for standardized lipedema surgery for Austria, Switzerland, Italy and also for southern Germany.


Dr. Heck and his team perform over 2500 liposuction procedures for lipedema annually at all locations and have only one goal:

To guide our patients into a new life without pain and suffering, but with more self-confidence and quality of life!


At the LipoCenter Dr. Heck, we adhere to the surgical standards developed by Dr. Heck over many years. We work exclusively with water-jet assisted liposuction, which is still considered the gentlest method. Through circular and radical lipodecompression, we can guarantee consistently stable surgical results and a consistently high level of quality. And that is precisely our goal!

Dr. Heck and his team have many years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of lipedema. Beyond our professional expertise, we place great importance on providing compassionate and supportive care before, during, and after surgery, ensuring our patients feel completely well looked after. The LipoCenter Dr. Heck supports scientific research on lipedema as a cooperation partner for external research projects, but also conducts numerous in-house studies to continuously improve the standards in the surgical and conservative treatment of lipedema. Our surgical method, as demonstrated in our own research, is characterized by reproducibly good results and a low complication rate.
